On 13 December last at the "Tanjia" restaurant in Paris's 8th district, 40 designers met for the first time to exhibit their jewellery in a grand celebration conceived by Delphine Nardin (DELPHINE NARDIN), Christine Laaban (BABYLONE), Patrick Battaglia (POGGI), Elie Seroussi (CÉCILE & JEANNE) and Jacky Vallet (ISAKY).

The media were strongly represented, heavily mobilised by the VFC press office, with 57 journalists from television and from the mass circulation written and trade press who came to celebrate with us the comeback of jewellery and the first "Nuit de la Fantaisie".

The world of entertainment, society's jet set and the world of fashion were also represented with Adeline Blondeau, Séverine Ferrer, Douchka, Tex, Derek, Jonathan Lambert, Gérard Louvin and Daniel Moine, Jean-marie Bernicat, Prince Michel of Bourbon and his wife, Baroness Allard, Thierry Nicolas, Gilles Rosier de Kenzo, Emmanuel Aubry de Christian Lacroix, Nicolas Rancoules, Thierry Mugler, Gérard Trémolet and François Lesage, singers from the musical "Roméo & Juliette" with Cécilia Cara, Grégory Baquet, Tom Ross, Philippe d'Avilla, Didier Flamand from the cast of "La Dame aux Camélias"…and Dominique BORG, "costume author", our godmother.
We were also pleased to welcome many people from our professions and trade federations.

The evening had all the right ingredients - vintage cars from the "Hors Norm's Club" parked at the restaurant entrance, the exhibition of jewels staged by Marie Moroni on the first floor of the restaurant, the oriental buffets and the champagne in small blue Pommery bottles, "les POP", the dancers and Polaroid photographers, and the music played by DJs Rony and Fabrice - to make the event a highly festive and congenial occasion which people are already asking to be repeated.
